From Nicolai Canetti, the NYC-based designer known for bringing postmodernist design into people’s homes in the 1980s, comes this quirky Idea Bulb Paperweight. Inspired by the age-old adage of a light bulb as a source of ideas and symbol for creativity, this illusory object sits steadily at a gravity-defying angle. This translucent solid acrylic design brings a bright pop of color to your desk, while the aluminum top mimics a light bulb’s screw tip. It measures 4h x 2.25”diam. Postmodern designs are represented in MoMA’s collection.
